As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, access concerns, and unusual activities in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
