About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for reception operations at a commercial real estate location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role welcomes visitors, manages access procedures, monitors activity, and provides customer service and communication to tenants and guests. The officer maintains a visible, professional presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a positive experience. The position is scheduled for Thursday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $20.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements; a security-related license issued by a state, county, or city is preferred and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and property staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access to the property lobby and reception area, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and delivery records.
Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and communicate building information professionally and courteously.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate property contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues at the front desk and surrounding entry areas.
