As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures while maintaining a professional presence in public-facing and restricted areas.
  • Assist with security-related reports, incident documentation, and/or follow-up communication regarding observed hazards, policy concerns, or medical facility disruptions.
