Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities and communication with professionalism. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed role.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and assist with visitor, vehicle, and contractor processing according to site procedures.
• Support emergency and weather-related responses by communicating relevant information, directing people according to post instructions, and coordinating with site personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.
