As a Security Officer Driving Role Screening in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access, screen people and property, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, screening activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or shipments entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the loading, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or policy violations within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.
