As a Security Officer Screening Examiner in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and packages, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to stay active, use strong communication skills, and provide great customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that values people first, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen associates, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or unusual activity through attentive screening and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
