About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing professional customer service and communication. The position pays $20.20 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and/or near a hospital morgue.
• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Must be willing and able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and designated interior areas to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with healthcare facility policies.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
