About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in New Orleans, Louisiana, you will serve and safeguard clients by driving through assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, customer service, and timely reporting. The role is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Applicants must have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience. An armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. Armed role applicants must be at least 21 years old. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Employees must participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements may vary under state and local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations, including situations requiring an armed response in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned areas and along the perimeter.
• Drive through assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally and provide timely reporting.
