About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Tarboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, delivery drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Staff the front desk and reception area, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access to the facility by observing entry points, directing guests to appropriate contacts, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, receive packages or deliveries as directed, and maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
