About The Position

Securitas is looking to hire a Security Officer to work Full time. This role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and a strong security presence to ensure the safety of the facility and personnel. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability is required for this position.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
