About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Hospital in Boston MA. Wednesday and Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM. Starting Pay is $21.23 Per Hour. Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidate Must be 21+ Years Old and Must Have 2+ Years of Previous Related Experience. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, assistance requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and support to visitors and staff as needed.
Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
