About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Lawton, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
  • Support daily operations by following Allied Universal post orders, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related requests in changing indoor and/or outdoor conditions.
