Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access at the front desk by checking in guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with monitoring lobby and reception areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through visible front desk presence.
• Support healthcare location operations by maintaining accurate logs, answering phones, providing directions, and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
