As a Security Officer Screening Representative in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen visitors, employees, and/or vendors entering the location, verify credentials and permitted items, and report irregularities through appropriate site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and client-directed communication protocols.
  • Monitor entry points, manage visitor flow, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive screening practices and professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and documenting security-related concerns.
