The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
Open availability is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, or dispatch systems.
Knowledge of incident management and emergency response procedures.
Previous experience working in a 24/7 operations environment.
Previous security experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor security, surveillance, alarm, and access control systems.
Receive, assess, and respond to security incidents and emergency situations.
Dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses as needed.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and activity documentation.
Monitor multiple communication channels including phone, radio, and email.
Track and report security events, facility issues, and critical incidents.
Escalate emergencies and operational concerns according to established procedures.
Provide real-time support to site personnel, management, and clients.
Conduct routine system checks and troubleshoot basic system issues.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and security operations.
Conduct patrols throughout shift.
