As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. This role offers the chance to deliver great customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and associates while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Perform screening-related duties for people, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and document screening activity, incidents, and policy exceptions in required logs and reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help support security-related operations, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance and/or access control concerns.
