As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and associates while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Perform screening-related duties for people, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and document screening activity, incidents, and policy exceptions in required logs and reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help support security-related operations, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance and/or access control concerns.
