About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to work as an EMT Response Driver at a manufacturing and industrial location in Reading, Pennsylvania. The role supports site operations through routine driving patrols, a visible security presence, professional incident response, and customer service. Officers monitor assigned areas and access points, enforce site-specific procedures, and communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel. The posted schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $25.10 per hour.

Requirements

Current EMT certification recognized by the relevant state authority is required.
A valid driver’s license is required and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy and applicable state requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial operations, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
