Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and/or assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle access procedures.
• Support site operations during routine and urgent situations by communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
