As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driving Role in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet incoming guests, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to support visitor access procedures in accordance with site expectations.
  • Answer questions, assist with directions, maintain front desk logs and/or reports, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
  • Observe entry areas and lobby activity from the front desk, help to deter unauthorized access, and document security-related events, visitor information, and/or key details as required by site policy.
