This role involves guarding, patrolling, and monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. The Security Officer will observe and report all activities, incidents, or safety hazards to uphold the integrity of the Bingo Hall. Under the guidance of the Supervisor or Shift Manager, they may respond to emergency situations, answer telephone calls, respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, and follow emergency response procedures. They will also answer alarms, investigate disturbances, monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons, and warn persons of rule infractions or violations, apprehending or evicting violators when necessary. The role requires writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, safeguarding property assets, escorting currency drop boxes, performing First Aid care, CPR, or other emergency needs, and operating detecting devices to screen individuals. Additionally, the Security Officer will patrol the premises to prevent and detect intrusions, ensure security of doors, windows, and gates, escort or drive motor vehicles, and interact with guests, vendors, suppliers, and team members to maintain a safe and friendly environment. Other duties may be assigned.
