About The Position

Under the supervision of the Security Coordinator, this role is responsible for the safety and security of hospital properties, employees, and visitors. The Security Officer responds to emergency situations, handles the pickup and delivery of various items (food, pharmacy, bank bags, etc.) to and from different sites, and maintains records and reports of unusual events. The position contributes to the efficient operations of the department.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED.
Three years minimum on the job security or relatable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of hospital properties, employees, and visitors.
Respond to emergency situations.
Pickup and delivery of food items, pharmacy items, bank bags, and other materials to and from various sites including Hospice House, Long Term Care, and banks.
Maintain records and reports of unusual events or happenings.
Contribute to the efficient operations of the department.
