As a Security Officer Patrol Circuit in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and guests, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and support daily operations with integrity. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor activity to help to deter trespassing, loitering, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support property personnel with security-related concerns, provide directions and information when needed, and complete assigned reports and logs related to daily activities and/or incidents.
