Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and alarm or surveillance systems as assigned; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, assisting with emergency evacuations when directed, and maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
