About The Position
Roadrunner Services is hiring a dependable Auto Auction Porter to support vehicle operations during auto auction sale days, primarily jump-starting vehicles by using a jump box. This indoor/outdoor position is responsible for jump-starting vehicles using portable jump boxes and ensuring inventory is ready for sale. If you enjoy working around vehicles in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you! Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to walk and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety focused.
- Ability to stand and walk for minimum of 4 hours for duration of the auto auction sale.
- Ability to lift hoods and operate latches.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb jump box repeatedly if mobile jump box is unavailable.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive or auto auction experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Jump-start vehicles using a portable jump box.
- Respond quickly to vehicles needing battery assistance.
- Help keep auction operations running smoothly and on schedule.
- Work safely outdoors in all weather conditions.
Benefits
