About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned transportation site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The employee may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week or scale back as needed. Pay is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity, report unusual conditions, and assist with directing visitors and personnel according to site procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
