As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and security-related concerns in clear, accurate reports while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
