As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related events in accordance with site procedures.
