As a Security Officer Luxury Gated Community Entry Authorization in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional assistance to residents, guests, and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with community procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents and management while supporting a welcoming residential environment and following Allied Universal security-related standards.
