Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and report access-control concerns, suspicious activity, and facility issues in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
