As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
