As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support visitors with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first and act with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with location protocols.
  • Support transportation-related operations by observing passenger flow, reporting suspicious activity, and assisting with security-related requests from site contacts and/or public agency representatives.
