Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site protocols for sign-in, badge checks, and/or vehicle screening.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity, and by assisting with incident reports, post orders, and other assigned security-related tasks.
