About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a High School in Everett MA. As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and communicating concerns to appropriate school personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information with school staff, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
