As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate in Corona, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and agency personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with location procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while working collaboratively with location staff and emergency responders as needed.
