As a Security Officer Full Time Residential Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist residents and visitors with professionalism. You will use technology to document activities and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, greeting visitors, and following visitor management procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
