About The Position

The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer serves and safeguards clients across industries and works at a variety of sites. This role offers hands-on experience, exposure to diverse work environments, and opportunities for career growth. Work is 30–40 hours per week, with a schedule that varies week to week based on manager-assigned shifts and shifts claimed through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments change regularly, and the officer may be assigned irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs. The position is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and includes unarmed driver patrol readiness duties. The pay rate is $17.02 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire departments in the event of a fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to help protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized property removal follows client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary in accordance with site Post Orders.
