As a Security Officer Full Time - Access Control in Jackson, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site policies, documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a respectful, service-focused environment for individuals receiving care and those visiting the location.
