About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Coxsackie, New York, you will serve and safeguard clients at an industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate with employees and visitors, report observations, and provide customer service. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, at a rate of $21.24 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response procedures.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
