As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site policies, and help support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Assist with alarms, evacuations, and other security-related events, following post instructions and reporting conditions that could impact personnel, property, and/or operations.
