As a Security Officer Access Patrol with Active Clearance in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening support, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with location procedures, and report discrepancies, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with an unarmed patrol post.
