About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting a financial institution in Port Isabel, Texas, you will safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to situations with integrity, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $13.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access concerns.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation according to site-specific procedures.
