As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Report hazards, damaged doors or fencing, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures.
