About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and assisting with incident response, evacuations, and/or other security-related duties as directed.
