About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Coordinator in Orlando, Florida. The role is assigned to a designated site and includes a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment. In addition to the scheduled shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, potentially building up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $19.00 per hour.

The assigned schedule is Wednesday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The officer provides customer service and security support to a residential community by managing access, keeping records, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for vehicles, residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, and communicate access-related concerns to site management and appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific procedures, and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
