About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage visitor and employee access, issue and verify badges, monitor alarm panels, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication. You will use computer or tablet systems, respond to access-related concerns, and help maintain an orderly workplace. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, maintain entry records, and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access control issues accurately, and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
