About The Position

As a full-time Patrol Unarmed Officer at an aerospace and defense technology location in Irvine, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. You will follow site-specific security procedures and policies and participate in emergency response activities.

The role is scheduled for daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
