About The Position

The Global Security (GS) North America Physical Security team is a dynamic group of security professionals responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and assets in retail and corporate environments across North America. The GS Team offers security protection, investigation, resiliency, and crisis management services globally, supporting JPMorgan Chase's employees, customers, assets, and facilities. This includes developing security and safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing security guards, responding to alarms, securing branch and corporate buildings, ensuring customer safety, conducting physical crime investigations, and addressing workplace violence, fire, and life safety issues. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of critical areas and personnel, inspecting grounds, controlling and monitoring access to buildings, reporting fire and safety hazards, managing alarms, and responding to emergencies. Excellent communication skills are essential, and candidates must pass a clearance process to be eligible for the position.

Requirements

Must have active State Security Guard License, if required by state law
CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness, neat in dress and appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in multiple computer operating systems
Customer and Client focus
Strong leadership skills and previous management experience

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of Critical infrastructure security operations, technical security, alarm management, mobile communication and incident reporting applications
Associate degree, or US Military background with honorable discharge, AND a minimum of five (5) years prior Security Officer experience
