Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction work areas, perimeter access points, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site requirements, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
