As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
