As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.
