As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.
